This morning I looked out my window to see these two beauties!
How they managed to get to my yard, I don’t know. Our house borders the train tracks and then the Arboretum, but there’s a tall fence between the two. There is a small hole in the fence, but it seems too small for deer to fit through. Yet somehow, here they are!

I saw a deer over by Holy Name Church in the yard and it crossed the street at around 3am one early morning last year. Beautiful animal! I have also seen coyotes about a mile away down by the Jewish Rehab near the Arboretum. It’s amazing these animals are in the city!
