It was a bat. But how did it get in? I&#8217;ve been wishing for bats to come and eat the mosquitos and I imagined putting up a bat house somewhere in our yard. Yet somehow a bat decided the basement would be a good place to be. I guess I&#8217;d better be careful what I wish for. Eventually the bat went outside.
